Intonix ("we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-driven interview preparation platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Intonix, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide and improve the services, deliver personalized interview experiences, and operate the platform. The information we collect includes:

  • Account and profile information: credentials required for sign-in (email or Google account) and profile details you provide or choose to edit, including a username and optional profile image.
  • Content and session data: information related to interview sessions and tool use (including content you submit, generated feedback, recordings you create, audio transcriptions, and content you upload for use in Templates (such as books)) used to deliver features such as replay and analysis.
  • Transactional records: records of credits purchased and used within the platform. We do not store full payment card details.
  • Technical and usage data: limited performance and analytics data (such as device type, browser, IP region, and session activity) to help maintain a smooth experience.

2.1 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Intonix does not directly use cookies. We rely on our third-party providers (like Clerk for authentication) which may use cookies for their services. 2.2 User-Generated Content and Public Templates

Our platform allows you to create "Templates" which may incorporate content you upload, such as books. You have the option to make these Templates available to other users ("public").

Important:

If you choose to make a Template public, you acknowledge and agree that all content included within that Template, including any uploaded books, will become publicly accessible to other users of the Intonix platform. Content you designate as public is not subject to the privacy protections outlined elsewhere in this policy.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and operate your account and the platform features.
  • Deliver interview simulations, results, and replayable analysis.
  • Process purchases of in-app credits and maintain transaction history.
  • Respond to support requests and account inquiries.
  • Maintain platform performance and security.
  • Fulfill legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for third-party marketing.

4. AI Processing

To generate interview content and feedback, Intonix uses third-party large language model providers. These providers may process the inputs required to generate outputs for your sessions. The providers we work with include OpenAI, Google, and Groq. Each provider maintains its own privacy and data-handling practices:

5. Data Storage & Security

User data is processed and stored in the Asia Pacific (Singapore). We employ reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your data, including secure access controls and protected API endpoints.

In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by law (typically within 72 hours), and provide guidance on protective steps.

6. Third-Party Services

We retain personal and session data as long as needed to provide the service or as required to meet legal obligations. For example:

  • Account data is retained while active + 1 year post-deletion for backups
  • Session recordings and audio are kept up to 2 years or until you request removal

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Our services are intended for students and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to remove it.

10. International Data Transfers

By using Intonix, you consent to the transfer and storage of your information in the Asia Pacific (Singapore) region, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
